Recognized in entertainment, arts, and culture, the 54th NAACP Image Awards winners were celebrated in over 80 categories on Saturday night as the ceremony took place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. The event was hosted by Queen Latifah and aired on BET and simulcast on Paramount+.
Angela Bassett came out as one of the biggest 54th NAACP Image Awards winners while winning Entertainer of the Year, Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Actress in a TV Drama for 9-1-1.
Leading the nominations with 12, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever received the award for Best Motion Picture. Abbott Elementary also had a big night with nine nominations.
