The Beyoncé RENAISSANCE tour ticket package is a pricey one
Tickets for the Beyoncé RENAISSANCE Tour ticket package were recently auctioned off on Saturday at Beyoncé’s mother and stepfather’s Wearable Art Gala. The gala celebrated the couple’s fifth anniversary of their WACO Where Art Can Occur Theater Center in Los Angeles.
The Beyoncé RENAISSANCE Tour ticket package was then put up for auction at the celebrity-filled Harlem Renaissance themed event, which celebrated Black art and culture from the 1920s and 1930s, while raising money for the artistic and youth mentorship programs for the WACO Theater Center.
Valued at $20,000, the auction prize for the ticket package gives the winner the opportunity to watch Beyoncé on her upcoming RENAISSANCE tour that’s scheduled to start next summer in 2023. Included in the package are two first class international United Airlines Polaris tickets with Marriott hotel accommodations for a 3-night stay. To top it off, 2 concert tickets are included with a backstage tour guided by Beyoncé’s mother, Miss Tina Knowles-Lawson.
Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and their oldest child Blue Ivy, attended the inaugural event that took place in Santa Monica over the weekend. The Wearable Art Gala was directed by Knowles-Lawson and her husband Richard Lawson, who are the co-founders and creative directors of WACO.
Keke Palmer served as the event’s emcee with special performances by Andra Day and Chloe x Halle. Angela Bassett, Quinta Brunson, Lupita Nyong’o, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams were also in attendance.
The tour dates haven’t yet been confirmed, but the Beyoncé RENAISSANCE Tour ticket package was rumored to receive $50,000 bids from the attendees, and eventually sold for a whopping $150,000. The winner is now, quite arguably, the biggest Bey fan in existence.
