The official trailer for the upcoming documentary Blood Brothers: Malcolm X And Muhammad Ali is out and the documentary premieres on Netflix on September 9. This documentary directed by Marcus A. Clarke (Unsolved Mysteries) and produced by Kenya Barris (Black-ish) tells the incredible story of the friendship, and falling out, between two of the 20th century’s most prominent figures.

The Blood Brothers: Malcolm X And Muhammad Ali documentary includes footage that has never been seen before. It shows a different perspective between the relationship of Muhammed Ali, a charismatic Olympic champion who is considered the greatest boxer of all time, and Malcolm X, a human rights activist and ex-con who became a leader of the Nation of Islam and Black America. Inspired by the book “Blood Brothers” written by Randy Roberts and Johnny Smith, Blood Brothers: Malcolm X And Muhammad Ali contains interviews of Muhammad Ali’s daughters Mayum and Gana and Malcolm X’s daughter Ilyasah Shabazz. Cornel West and Al Sharpton also make an appearance.
