Check Out The Official Trailer For Jordan Peele’s New Horror Film Nope

Trailer for Jordan Peele’s new horror film Nope released by Universal Pictures

On Super Bowl Sunday, the official trailer for new horror film Nope caught our attention during one of the many commercial breaks. Back in July of 2021, Oscar winner Jordan Peele teased his next directorial film with a promotional poster that only left us with more questions. With the launch of the Nope trailer, we’ve been left profunded with more questions to ask.

Peele appears to be keeping the plot details of his new horror film Nope under wraps. Daniel Kaluuya has been cast in what is expected to be another nerve racking journey with Peele, while Keke Palmer and Steven Yeun have also joined the ride. By the looks of the trailer, it appears that there will be horses, Black people, and possibly encounters from those not from this world.

There’s a stern focus on the sky during the trailer and it catches a majority of characters worryingly astounded with what they’re experiencing. As confusing as it can be, we’re making an educated guess that Jordan Peele’s new horror film Nope will become another entertaining thriller. With a knack for crafting modern scary movies, Peele’s third directorial film, following Get Out from 2017 and Us in 2019, is set up for success.

Peele’s surely been busy, he has produced Lovecraft Country, Candyman, and has written and starred in an upcoming animated comedic horror film from Coraline director Henry Selick. It’s been two years since the release of Us and we’re only months away from figuring out what’s really going on in the isolated town witnessed from the Nope trailer.

Nope co-stars Michael Wincott (Hitchcock, Westworld) and Brandon Perea (The OA, American Insurrection) and is produced by Ian Cooper (Us, Candyman) and Jordan Peele for Monkeypaw Productions. Jordan Peele’s new horror film is scheduled for a worldwide release by Universal Pictures on July 22, 2022.
