Spend a day in Ghana and watch the Kendrick Lamar Spotify mini-doc

In celebration of Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, the Kendrick Lamar Spotify mini-documentary spends a day with K.Dot in Accra, the capital of Ghana. In the 4-minute clip, Kendrick discusses his therapy, his new album, and the urge to escape the publicity around its release.

The Freedom Skatepark, which fashion designer Virgil Abloh helped fund, is visited by Kendrick Lamar. The Grammy Award-winning American rapper also explains how Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is his “most present” album.

“This is my most present album,” said Lamar. “What he means to them, you know, as far as letting them have this creative space for them to enjoy themselves. That’s special,” Lamar said of Abloh, the American-born son of Ghanaian immigrants.
