The storyline follows Donnie, played by Jonathan Majors, seven years after the events of the second movie.

As Damian unexpectedly makes his comeback, Donnie finds himself in the middle of one of the biggest fights of his professional career. Take a closer look at the new Creed III trailer below to get a feel for the action.

In an interview with Variety, Jonathan Majors revealed that he “got punched in the face about 100 times” over the course of filming. He also explained how his character’s physical transformation came about.

“There are certain reasons you build your body. Dame’s body was built from loss,” Jonathan told Men’s Health. “He had lost something, and that hole is what made him work the way he worked. When you see Dame’s body, you go, Oh, that makes sense. You don’t look like that and be happy with life.”

Filming for Creed III took place in Atlanta, Georgia, between January and April of 2022. The movie is set to be released across the nation in theaters on March 3 by United Artists Releasing, who released films including House of Gucci, and Licorice Pizza, and No Time To Die. The film will be released globally by Warner Bros.
