New Drake Album Honestly Nevermind Is Out Today

The new Drake album Honestly Nevermind has been released following last night’s announcement

Only a few hours after @champagnepapi’s surprise Instagram announcement, the new Drake album Honestly Nevermind has launched on Apple Music. The follow up album to 2021’s Certified Lover Boy contains 14 tracks and is executively produced by Aubrey Graham himself along with Noah “40” Shebib, Oliver El-Khatib, Noel Cadastre, and Black Coffee.

The Canadian rapper was spotted in the studio back in March of this year, which eventually led to the release of the new record. Despite the fact that nothing was confirmed at the time, this fuelled rumors that he was producing new material for an upcoming album.

Yesterday evening, Drake shared the news of his new LP with a post of his album cover and text that read “7th studio album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ out at midnight.” Drake posted again with the tracklist and then played his new album the next morning on his new SiriusXM Sound 42 show, Table for One.

Listed under the “dance” genre in Apple Music, the new Drake album Honestly Nevermind is slated to become the biggest dance album in Apple Music history. Certified Lover Boy already holds the crown for the biggest album for the music streaming platform, followed by Drake’s Scorpion from 2018 in second place.

The new Drake album Honestly Nevermind is the Canadian rapper’s seventh studio album and is dedicated to Virgil Abloh, the legendary American fashion designer and entrepreneur. The official music video for the single “Falling Back” was revealed shortly after the album release and is directed by Director X with an appearance by Canadian-American NBA basketball player Tristan Thompson.

The only credited featured artist on the album is 21 Savage, who appears on the final song, “Jimmy Cooks.” Listen to the full album below.
