Postponing to the summer of 2022, The Weeknd delays tour
Once again, Canadian singer The Weeknd delays tour for his 2020 album After Hours, released back in March of last year. The tour will now begin in the summer of 2022 after being postponed to begin in January.
After it was announced that The Weeknd delays tour, the artist wrote, “Due to constraints of arenas and the demand for more shows I want to do something bigger and special for you which requires stadiums. Current tickets will be refunded automatically and all ticket holders will be given priority to buy tickets for the stadium shows when they go on sale. New dates forthcoming.”
This marks the third time The Weeknd has postponed his tour event. He has mentioned that his shows will be held in stadiums because of constraints at arenas. Earlier this year, The Weeknd released his track “Take My Breath” and stated that his forthcoming album is one that he always wanted to create.
