119.7 million viewers tuned in for the Rihanna Super Bowl Halftime Show

In her first public show in the last five years, BadGalRiRi took the stage at the Rihanna Super Bowl Halftime Show last night for Super Bowl LVII. She also informally announced her pregnancy as she donned an incredible all-red JW Anderson jumpsuit showcasing the baby bump.

The Barbadian singer began her Super Bowl LVII set with her 2015 single “B**** Better Have My Money,” then performed her classic songs including “We Found Love”, “Rude Boy “, “Work “, “All of the Lights”, “Run This Town”, “Umbrella”, and “Only Girl (In the World)”. She finished the set with “Diamonds” while on an elevated platform ascended above the field at State Farm Stadium.

According to data from FOX Sports, 118.7 million viewers watched the Rihanna Super Bowl Halftime Show, making it the third all-time most watched “TV show” in history. Super Bowl LVII also became the most watched Super Bowl in the last six years, as well as the most streamed Super Bowl in history with 113 million viewers.

The performance is currently the second most watched halftime show in history, only behind Katy Perry’s epic 2015 performance for Super Bowl XLIX. Team Left Shark represent!

Blige, and Kendrick Lamar in last year’s Super Bowl LVI halftime show in Los Angeles, Rihanna now joins a long list of legendary acts for the big game that include Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Lady Gaga, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, and many more.
