Eddie Murphy Is Back In The You People Netflix Official Trailer

Check out the You People Netflix official trailer

The full You People Netflix official trailer has dropped and it follows an interracial couple made of Jonah Hill as Ezra and Lauren London as Amira. While trying to maintain harmony in their relationship and keeping their parents content, the engaged couple finds that the introduction of their families does not go so well.

Most people find the path of marriage to be challenging. For Ezra and Amira in particular, as seen in the You People Netflix official trailer, being liked by the families they are marrying into is on another level. The fact that Amira’s daughter is marrying a Caucasian man doesn’t excite Amira’s proud African-American family. On the other side, Ezra’s family fails to recognize when they can be disrespectful.

It pretty much tells a modern day love story with interfaith connections and competing cultures. Take a look for yourself in the You People Netflix official trailer below.

The upcoming romantic comedy is written and directed by Black-ish creator Kenya Barris and features a star-studded cast consisting of Eddie Murphy, Nia Long, David Duchovny, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sam Jay, Elliott Gould, Travis Bennett, Molly Gordon, Rhea Perlman, Deon Cole, Andrea Savage, Mike Epps, Emily Arlook, Alani La La Anthony, and Bryan Greenberg.

It’s also Barris’ directorial debut, and she continues her effort of discussing socially complicated topics that are prevalent in the United States. Producer Kevin Misher is at the helm, while David Hyman, Matt Dines, Hale Rothstein, Alison Goodwin, Mychelle Deschamps, Andy Berman, and Charisse Hewitt-Webster are among the executive producers.
