Nostalgic BlackBerry fans are going to love the Clicks Technology iPhone keyboard
Startup Clicks Technology has developed a brand new Clicks Technology iPhone keyboard, providing a physical keyboard for Apple’s flagship mobile phones. Those who loved BlackBerry’s key button offering back in the day will feel right at home as the board resembles the bottom of a BlackBerry silhouette.
The Clicks Technology iPhone keyboard accessory is housed in a unibody silicon casing and fits perfectly onto the user’s iPhone, providing a fully functional QWERTY keyboard via the lightning connection or USB-C, depending on the iPhone model. Clicks recently provided a preview of the device as its actual debut at CES next week draws near.
With its London Sky gray hue and Bumblebee yellow coloring, the Clicks Keyboard lets users “maximize [their] screen space.” It functions as a plug-and-play smart case and doesn’t need a Bluetooth connection. The thin keyboard, which is powered by the user’siPhone, doesn’t require a separate battery and doesn’t significantly increase the weight of the phone.
In order to charge the phone, the user can plug it in via the pass-through port located at the bottom. There isn’t any case-removal required! There’s also a backlight feature provided. Voice-to-text and iOS shortcuts are also supported. To access the home screen, click “CMD + H.” To access Search and access a “whole list” of other options, use “CMD + Space.”
The Clicks Technology iPhone keyboard is set to become the first-ever iPhone creator keyboard, with prices starting at $139 for the iPhone 14 model. Pre-orders are now live on the Clicks Technology website, followed by a Clicks app on the Apple App Store.
