The Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-Series printers include three models
Epson have announced their new Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-Series printers. By merging cutting-edge technology and a compact design, this new line of A3 color multifunction inkjet printers provide an equally effective and budget friendly alternative to laser printers.
A majority of the A3 color printer market can print 30 to 50 sheets per minute. Epson’s current line of A3 color printers can either print about 26 pages per minute (PPM), or 60 to 100 pages per minute. To fill in the 30 to 60 PPM gap, the Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-Series printers have been introduced by the Japanese imaging-equipment company.
This new line of inkjet printers claim to be less wasteful and more energy efficient. Due to the lower energy consumption of inkjet technology compared to laser, as well as its lightweight, compact design, less materials are spent during production. The printers can fit into any office with ease and take up less room thanks to their smaller size.
High yield ink cartridges also minimize the need for supplies, shipping, and storage. Epson inkjet printers require significantly less service and maintenance when compared to laser printers, which increases productivity and user satisfaction. There are fewer moving parts to replace over the course of an inkjet printer’s lifetime.
Two new finishers are included with the Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-Series printers. There’s an inner finisher built directly into the main unit and a staple finisher without an external bridge unit. The staple finisher can be equipped with a saddle unit for folding and creating booklets.
With an add-on, both finishers can support hole-punching. The printers have a “softer” shape, with smoother, curved edges in place of sharp corners. The 10.1″ touch panel has a larger screen than earlier models and can now be rotated for better movement. With the redesigned Graphic User Interface (GUI), users may easily identify features and alter the touch panel’s layout.
Arriving in three models, the Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-Series printers include the AM-C4000, AM-C5000, and AM-C6000. Below is a full list of features for the AM-Series range.
