Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour Announced

Reuniting the Fugees, the Lauryn Hill 25th anniversary tour kicks off September 8

Spanning a 17-date tour across the United States and Canada, the Lauryn Hill 25th anniversary tour has officially been announced in celebration of the quarter century mark of Ms. Hill’s solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. The tour will mark Hill and the Fugees’ first tour in years.

In addition to the North American shows, the tour will also span towards Australia and New Zealand and feature Jamaican pop singer Koffee. The United Center in Chicago, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles are among some of the venues listed for the US dates. On September 8, Hill will begin on her first show in Minneapolis.

“The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is and was a love song to my parents, my family, my people, my musical and cultural forebears, my teachers, my loves, my Creator,” said Hill in a statement. “I wrote love songs and protest songs (still love songs) about the subjects and interests that inspired and moved me. I was confident that what inspired me would resonate with an audience that had been led to believe that songs of that kind could only live in the past.”

The Lauryn Hill 25th anniversary tour follows the Fugees’ forced cancellation of their reunion tour due to the pandemic. The tour was canceled in 2022 after being first announced in 2021 to commemorate the anniversary of their Grammy-winning album, The Score.
