The fourth annual Global Movie Day 2023 is scheduled to be held on February 11, 2023, and has now received official announcement from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Moviegoers everywhere have the chance to celebrate their favorite movies on this day and interact online with Academy members and directors.
Global Movie Day 2023 has a lot of fun new features. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is recommending movie buffs to go watch the Best Picture nominees at prominent theaters including AMC Theatres, Regal, and Cinemark. Passes can currently be purchased.
The Academy will hold its inaugural Global Movie Day Celebration at the Academy Museum on February 11 from 8 to 11 PM. With exhibitions, food, beverages, music, and other fun activities, this joyful event will bring together movie aficionados to celebrate their love of film.
The Global Movie Day Celebration will also feature content from this year’s nominated films as well as music from this year’s Best Original Song and Best Original Score categories. Online ticket sales for the event have begun, and guests can take advantage of a 15% discount on both in-person and online purchases at the Museum store with code “GLOBALMOVIEDAY”.
Exclusive content from a roster of well-known actors, including Angela Bassett, Elizabeth Banks, Ruth E. Carter, Jamie Lee Curtis, and many more will be featured on The Academy’s social media pages to celebrate Global Movie Day 2023. The hashtag #GlobalMovieDay will be used to encourage the community to watch and share their favorite films and nominated works on social media.
