Kevin Hart And Chris Rock: Headliners Only Netflix Documentary Trailer Debuts

The Headliners Only Netflix documentary also features Dave Chappelle, Bill Burr, and Wanda Sykes

Set to premiere on December 12, the Kevin Hart And Chris Rock: Headliners Only Netflix documentary “will give audiences a behind the scenes glimpse into the lives of two comedy titans”. According to the release, the film will follow “two comedy icons as they tour together” during their venture in New York and New Jersey in July 2022.

Kevin Hart and Chris Rock will also share “first-hand accounts of their early lives, struggles, triumphs, and their unbreakable brotherhood.” In addition to interviews with the comedy duo, the Headliners Only Netflix documentary will feature fellow comedians like Dave Chappelle, Bill Burr and Wanda Sykes who will talk about the two of the greatest comedians in history.

“I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the return of live comedy than to co-headline a show with my brother Chris Rock. This is a major moment in comedy and one for the history books,” stated Hart earlier this year in March when the project was first announced.

The documentary is directed by Rashidi Harper, with executive production from Thai Randolph, Jeff Clanagan, Mike Stein, Dave Becky, Kevin Healey, JC Del Barco, and Ty Walker. Producers include Hart, Rock, Harper, Oby M. Okoye, Bryan Smiley, Luke Kelly-Clyne, Malcolm Spellman, and Tami D’Addio.

There is ample documentation of Kevin Hart’s ascent to prominence, thanks to his highly publicized films and sold-out performances, which have made him a “household name”. Recently, Hart’s long-awaited action-comedy Lift was delayed until January 2024.

Conversely, Chris Rock has had a fantastic 2023, keeping his name in the public eye with his performances as civil rights activist Roy Wilkins in George C. Wolfe’s Rustin and as Kitty’s voice in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie.
